March 20th: George demonstrated Ruby on Rails for rapid deployment of
web sites built on office databases. The presentation was at the Topical SIG of Big Blue and Cousins, the Greater Victoria Computer Users Association.
Volunteer organizations now have several management databases to choose from. Here is an information model in excel to evaluate them to. The model is based on research in the Volunteer Victoria library. Contact gtbowden.at.shaw.ca to see how you can use the model.
